Royal Caribbean International is a Norwegian-American company that’s based in Miami, Florida. Under the Royal Caribbean umbrella are also the cruise lines Celebrity Cruises and Pullmantur Cruises, and they also have a share of Island Cruises. Unlike the name might imply, Royal Caribbean sails all over the world - including a private resort property in Haiti called Labadee and another private destination island in the Bahamas. Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, launched in 2006, is currently the largest passenger vessel in the world. In 2009, the cruise company will out-do itself, however, by launching a whole new class of ships which will be even larger.
