Last Minute Cruise on Disney
The name says it all - Disney Cruise Line is owned and operated by the Walt Disney Company and has its headquarters in Florida. Disney only operates two nearly identical cruise ships, though they also have a private island in the Bahamas for its guests to visit when the ships stop there. Not surprisingly, Disney cruises and the ships themselves are designed to be family-friendly - each ship has areas which are specifically for the different age groups, from toddlers to adults and everyone in between. There are also measures on the ships which make them safe for even families with very young children.
Disney doesn’t cruise all over the world, but they offer different durations for the places they do go. Here’s the list of the destinations they sail to:
- Bahamas (3-night Bahamian Cruise, 4-night Bahamian Cruise, 7-night Land & Sea Vacation)
- Caribbean (7-night Western Caribbean Cruise, 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruise)
- Mediterranean (10-night Mediterranean Cruise in Europe, 11-night Mediterranean Cruise in Europe, 14-night Eastbound Transatlantic Cruise, 14-night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise)
- Mexican Riviera (7-night Mexican Riviera Cruise, 15-night Westbound Panama Canal Cruise, 15-night Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise)
Disney has plans for two more ships to be added to its fleet in 2011 and 2012.
